加拿大签英国签证求助在线等

我女朋友在加拿大读master，准备圣诞节来英国看我，两人分别有加拿大和英国的学生签证，且均是中国护照。
问题如下：
1、探亲访友签证容易，还是旅游签证容易
2、分别列出两种签证需要准备的材料。。。。

我用的个人旅游签证，在美国
10天拿到
不过预约时间会挺痛苦，现在办不一定来得及
我自己的checklist有
1. Passport (origin and copy)
2. Certification from the college and its copy
3. Application forms
4. Bank statements
5. I-20, student ID and its copy, respectively
6. My itinerary
7. Hotel bookings confirmation
8. Reservation for air tickets
